The 1973 Topps football set was a landmark issue for the time, largely because it was at that point the largest football set that Topps had ever produced.  Loaded with rookies, approximately 1/3 of the cards in the set are the first football cards for those players.  Among the more important rookie cards are Franco Harris, Jack Ham, Art Shell, Kenny Stabler, Jack Youngblood and Dan Dierdorf.

Presented is a complete, ungraded set of 528, an attractive and clean mid-to-high grade collection.  The primary condition flaw with this set is related to centering, an example of Topps' inferior quality control in the post-Bowman era.  Centering aside, the majority of the cards grade in the EX-MT to NMT range, with some better and a few lesser.  An attractive, large set, filled with stars, Hall of Famers and rookies.  528 cards total.
